I doubt the prices will be coming down anytime soon.
What miffs me about Office 2k3 is that you don't get Infopath with the consumer editions but you do with the corporate ones. 
If there was one reason to upgrade it would have been for Infopath - that's probably the best reason to get Office 2k3 IMO. Why they refuse to bundle it in for Joe Consumer is beyond me (well, aside from the obvious one - greed).
