The way JP describes things makes me believe that he thinks all Chinese are Communists. I'm also led to believe that he thinks that Communism is a form of government, which it isn't. And further, communism=bad democracy=good, which can only be true in certain situations, and not others.
FYI, the naval exercises were held in Qingdao, which is nowhere near Taiwan. If the Chinese had wanted to protest Taiwanese elections, they would've held their military exercise in Fujian province again( without the aid of a foreign power), like they've done for the past few years. Also the Fujian exercise not only practices naval roles (like that of the French-Sino a few days ago) but also aerial and land combat, esp. in securing a beachhead.
With all that said, are you trying to say that just because the French participated in an exercise, they are vile and evil? Or are you trying to link this back to the French role in not supporting US in the Iraq War? Lets not forget all those central Asian countries that've already held joint exercises with China: Russia, former Soviet states, even India. O yeah, they're all commie-supporters alright.  |
