and guess what? on a new XP install just before i installed SC i was burning a cd when the pc rebooted. guess what? dead primary hard drive!

doesnt that suck? now i gotta wait for the RMA while i luckily have this linux box. damn western digital! i wonder if 300 watts isnt enough power for this system.

1 gb corsair pc3200
SBlive! 5.1
40 gb WD 7200rpm (deceased)
80 gb WD 7200

this PSU is pretty new too, an antec. what a bummer. oh well, if i could play the trumpet id play taps for the hard drive.
