i can figure out most of the build i just have one question. the cpu i bought is separate from the heatsink/fan. i (stupidly) bought some cheap thermal compound just in case the combo didnt come with compound (ultra silver thermal compound 1.0g). i dont know how good of a compound it is...but hopefully they sent something with the combo.
what kind of things do i have to be cautious of when putting the heatsink onto the cpu? im assuming it goes on before attatching to board.
