amd's are notorious for producing excessive heat. Excessive heat will do exactly what is happening in your situation. Will boot some and then shut off. make sure the fan in the middle of the motherboard sticking up off it is spinning when you try to power on. (If you feel like it, try keeping the side open and put a window fan next to it and put it on medium or high and try booting then its a possibility. And make sure that there are no wires just laying around (everything should be connected to something or the other). Last but not least make sure your video card is secure in the socket. You may or may not have one depending on you pc model. It is a card that sticks in the motherboard and the back of it shows out the back bottom of the pc. Make sure that is firmly in the motherboard from inside. .. Besidies that cant really think of any other solutions, good luck
