I couldnt really make much sense out of that ramble... but are you are talking about the power and hard drive LEDs on the front of the case?
There are some little wires inside the case (coming from somewhere in the front of the case normally) with little black plastic female plugs on the end. White writing on the black plug normally specifies what each particular wire is for. These are placed on certain pins on the motherboard. Generally there is a section on the bottom of the motherboard and towards the front of the case, like an 10x2 grid of pins where LEDs and the system speaker and stuff are hooked up.
You'll have to look at the motherboard manual to figure out where they are supposed to go. You can prolly download it in PDF from from the mobo manufacturers website.
