I know for sure this problem is caused by a spyware. The sympton is if you put your mouse cursor over the taskbar you get a hourglass, and in general the system is sluggish. I know this is caused by a spyware because by removing bunch of spyware I was able to fix the problem on 2 PCs. I wasn't able to remove one spyware at a time to find out the culprit simply because spyware removal is pain in the butt if done one at a time

So which spyware causes this?
