You can do what I do....I have an 802.11g and an 802.11b router that I use on the same network, too. I have the 802.11g with NAT on that my modem plugs into and from there I have the cable coming out to the other wireless router on the other side of the house. I have the cable from the first router just going into a LAN port on the second router...do not plug the cable from the first router into the WAN port because that will make it like a router. Then you can just disable DHCP and connect like you normally would to the router. It will just get the IP from the first router instead.
