well, like I said..dont worry about any lights. leds etc

strip it back down..take the motherboard back out of the case....

take off all the ide cables...unplug the power from all the hard drives/cdroms

use only the cpu/heatsink/cpu fan......ONE stick of ram...and a video card unless it has onboard video....of course u need the power supply

that is ALL you need to boot

if it wont boot then..well that is another story....but you need to strip it down to narrow down the possible problems...otherwise you will chase your tail for 10 more hrs
