I wouldn't recommend flashing your BIOS if you have never seen it done before, as it can be a truamatic experience for newbies (no offense

). Basically flashing a BIOS usually consists of booting off of a floppy disk and entering some commands to terminate your old BIOS and install your new one. Flashing a BIOS can be done improperly though and it is nearly impossible to recover after an improper flash.
