You should've taken the battery out immediately and allowed it to dry off. Best you can do now is get it entirely dry and hope it still works. If there are any inside areas that you can't get too that you think might have water in them, then allow them to dry too before even trying to power it back up. That make take a day or two.

A hair dryer on a low setting may speed the process along.
