ok, so i am impatient... before reading all of your comments, i dried out my phone some more (took it apart as far as i could and held it in front of a fan... it dried me out as well

) i then plugged the charger in and turned it on and was able to get it to work. i am happy now.. i did take it apart again and i will be leaving it out to dry until tomorrow, but i need my cell phone.... my school phone wont do longdistance (unless i set up some account, and then go through the bill with my roommate to figure out who owes who).
