It says upgrading the HDD "may void your warranty." I'm not sure the details - I don't use Macs since I like opening up my PC's without worrying that I'm SOL if something I install doesn't like the rest of my components - I'm simply restating what both this macworld article and the slashdot article say - both of which seem to imply that opening up your imac will void the warranty.

Granted, the MacWorld story is old - but I don't think the new iMac's warranty is any different from the old one... Just beware, early iMac G5 adopters!!! Jobs may not fix your machine if you get too curious with what's inside it...
