Wat happened previously was...i downloaded BoostXP and did some tweak and stuff. After that, when i restarted my pc my my display setting colour quality went down to 4 bit (the lowest) and the icons and words appeared bigger than usual. I dunno whether its a virus or i deleted some windows files.

Now, I followed yr instruction and set my old HD as master. When i logged onto my account the following msg appeared:

C: Documents and Setting/Wineglass/Desktop not accessible.

Insufficient system resources exixt to complete the requested service.

Then when i tried to reboot into 'safe mode' I get this:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)/windows/system32/ntoskrnl.exe

and after the msg the pc hung. The forward slashes are supposed to be backward slashes as my backward slash key is not working properly. I also confirm my file system in the old HD was Windows XP NTFS system.
