Sounds like there may have been a problem in the BIOS flash. Is there a way to flash it back to the original bios version you had to test & see if that is the problem? Also, be sure to run Memtest86 (www.memtest86.com) on your system and check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools to see if it is failing.
