a cheap shot? what are you talking about? yeah, it was based on christianity. Back in the day when women who knew how to read were burned for being witches. Thank you, christianity, whatever would we do without you. The fact is that religion promotes action without thought. If you think that god is behind you in whatever you do just because you go to church on sunday, you arent going to think of the consequences of what you are doing, you'll just know that "god" is behind you 100%. I just dont understand how people can say that the killing of other people, or anything that profoundly affects someones life negatively is justified in any way because of some book that was written hundreds of years ago by some guy. I just wish that people would think for themselves before they do something so important as voting.

And TRB, im not saying that every Bush supporter is a religious fanatic, nor that every church goer votes for Bush, but he does use god alot in his speeches and such, and trys to make it seem to the very-religious that he is somehow closer to god than John Kerry.
