Just download the freeware "lite" version:

You can see the difference between the full and free version there as well. Basically, what I remember of the free version is that it didn't have most of the networking modules. I now have the Enterprise edition so sorry if I'm wrong. I don't think there were any nags or anything like that, just if you tried to use a module that wasn't supported, it would let you know that you needed the full version to use it.

You may also be interested in Lavalys Everest (http://lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en). I use the Pro version but Home is still good and absolutely free.
