i like nero 6 ultra reloaded. it does EVERYTHING you could possibly think of and then some.

i also use dvd shrink to backup movies. it's nice in that it will pass the burning tasks off to nero and directly burn the images for you. very convenient. plus, it's easy to use and it's free.
