I also suggest a Linksys router, specifically the WRT54G. I'm assuming the computers are desktops, correct?
Either use the onboard ethernet port if they have them, or just grab a pci ethernet port. Fairly cheap.
For wireless, I'm using 3 of the Belkin F5D7000 (PCI). All work fine, no problems.
I don't know about wireless adapters for laptops though (PCMCIA).
[EDIT]: Just noticed you said you were looking for wireless cards, please ignore the ethernet stuff in my post.
