As good a browser as Firefox is, some sites were written with IE in mind. Well most are, but some are so specific that Firefox just doesn't do a very good job displaying content. IMO, it isn't a better/best equation. They are both functional and complete. The problem with IE, and consequently the only reason I use Firefox, is scripts/attacks/spyware/etc... you are subject to when you use IE that you are basically immune to when using a Mozilla browser. Well tabs. I guess there are few reasons Firefox might be construed as "better" but then again, it can't really be best can it when some sites simply are not useable with it. |
