you plug that into your tv and laptop..then you need to change the input on your tv...usually to input one or something like that

try messing with the input. if that dosen't fix it please explain exactly what shows up on the tv when you plug it in...is it distorted, blurry....explain the problem in detail. If it's just blurry, sorry but that's how tv's display. You will not get a clear picture on your tv unless you are watching video. TV's are not meant to display still, very highly defined images (like text) and do a poor job of it.

if you are watching video, then that's a whole different story! just let us know a little more info.
