2) I bought the board some time back form a forum member, I've never overclocked it.

The link you provided said it was a memory error. I only have 2 sticks of DDR Ram, PC2100 512mb & PC2700 512mb. I pulled the PC2100 to set the Abit board up so when it showed memory error I shut down and swapped memory. I am now running the PC2100 in this machine and the PC2700 in the Abit board. It booted fine and the errored stick is back in this machine and it's running fine .  |
