for price and near top performance ratio, and when not going SLI, for as far as I've seen ya can't beat the x800xl.

Like said before, it outperforms the 6800GT in more then 1 scenario is almost on par with the x800xt in lotsa tests and it costs way less then both others do.

Ya can get and x800xl for approx 300 bucks. The cheapest 6800GT was more in the direction of 400 and I ain't even starting with the x800xt pe.

But don't get the asus one, if I saw correctly on their site, their 800xl uses 3500Mhz memory, not 500Mhz gddr3, or is what just a slower model, could've been, but be sure to check listed clock speeds when yer buying a card.
