As you may recall, I've recently acquired a gun turret sight probably from a B-17 from my grandparents'. In a seemingly never-ending quest to purge their house of "junk," they've turned over another old oddity.
The following is a print by an artist who goes by either O'Klein or Jean Herblet. The country of origin is France, and it has Rivoli Paris 1928 written at the top.
I know some of you here have varying tastes, some of which may be in art. I hope you guys can offer some insight to this artwork. Painting Signature Some very tiny writing at the top A different view of the very small writing at the top
What it says is: Edite par la Lte Les Graveurs Modernes 194 rue de Rivoli Paris_1928.
On the other side it says: Copyright 1928 by Les Graveurs Modernes_Paris
Thanks! |
