| Dell Latitude C840 Display too small
I have a C840 I had to completely restore windows on. The screen was a small box when I started, but after several windows updates it filled the entire LCD screen again.
The problem is that the screen resolution is very very tiny. When I use control panel/display to adjust the resolution, it just kicks it back to the small screen (actually it flickers when I try to apply new settings but the size never actually increases)
Dell has a driver I tried installing it, but it has a two part installation with a download to floppy necessary for the bios. I don't have a floppy, but I could go buy one I suppose if this is what's gonna solve the problem.
Anyway, your help is greatly appreciated!!! Below is the dell page with the driver I was talking about. is there a way to use it w/out the floppy? http://support.dell.com/support/down...&deviceid=2572
