AOL 9.0 Speaker control

Hi,

My wife is using AOL 9.0 on her Toshibe M55S135 Laptop.

She was on the road last week and in reconfiguring the software to dial up from a new location she has somehow turned off the speakers on her laptop.

We have been down the whole road of Volume settings/ properties etc and all is set ok. I thought she must be off the rails till this morning I was laying in bed and thought about what had gone on to the machine recently. I came here to my office and tried turning the speakers off here with AOL 8.0 under modem properties and lo and behold the whole machine is silent.

I have tried to talk her through how to get to this sectrion of her software and just can't seem to get there.

I am on Nthn Germany and she is in Sthn France ( See my user name has two locations!) so if anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it.

I don't need to be flamed for using AOL I have explained in many previous threads why I use AOL which id basically local access in many parts of the world. I travel a lot.
