GoDaddy is a great provider - I've had email service from them and domain for over a year, and my website www.elementcrush.net is hosted there also. I don't have a complaint about them, good customer service too. When I activated the hosting account, I ran into some issue about not being able to see what I had uploaded.
After calling their 24/7/365 line (not 1800 but whatever) it was answered by a tech who tried a few different things and eventually it started working. Ended up me not waiting long enough for the activation to go through, that's all.
Anyways, consider getting Dreamweaver, don't bother with Website Tonight. I'm still working on it, but the home page of my website was actually created with Photoshop, then imported into Dreamweaver for some tweaking. I've found that's basically the best way to do it, assuming you have Photoshop. If you do everything in Dreamweaver, yes it's possible but so much more can be done in less time with PS.
Good luck. |
