Have you previously flashed the bios?
I would unplug the pc, remove the battery and clear the cmos. Re-install the battery, plug the pc back in the wall and see what happens. If needed flash the bios, however only do this if you're sure you have the correct flash program, bios file and the machine is stable enough that it won't crash or lock up during the flash.
A bootblock bios is simply a bios that has a section that does not get flashed. It contains the basic data to boot the pc. This way if your flash goes bad the board will still boot so you can attempt another flash.
