Okay so the wireless works for a while then dies off? Or you have problems with the internet?
Do you have any kind of encryption set up? What a bout cordless phones? What kind of wireless cards do you have? Do you have the latest updates for the cards?
To save your settings you can go to administration then config management. You should be able to back them up there
