Sollution to bootup problem

Hi Folks,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just exerienced the exact same problem, and the HP technician that serviced it ended up having to replace the motherboard because it was faulty. Fortunately mine was still under warrantee .

Judging by the number of people with the same problem, and the fact that the first replacement board the technician tried was also faulty , apparently it's a production fault. I only hope that the replacement board doesn't end up having the same problem again after the warrantee expires.
