I'm baffled why the Tickle Me Elmo 2 Extreme or whatever is so popular...it looks like he goes into a seizure during his laugh-o-rama.

My neighbor bought 15 them just to put them on eBay for Christmas...smart move on her part as they're already highly sought after. Can someone please explain why people want them so badly? I just don't get it...after about 5 seconds of hearing his laugh, I feel like chopping his head off.
Hmm...maybe people are buying him to do just that?

Any thoughts on this?
