Yeah the monitor upgrade is for sure cheaper than going for a LCD HDTV but I'm kind of looking to my future. The only real reason why I can afford something like this is because of my current situation. As of this moment I am in the middle of the desert taking a quick break from the flightline to type this message. Making money in the middle of nowhere with tax free has its benefits. I'll look into this a little more when I get back home but right now it's up in the air.
