TO ANYONE WITH ORANGE LIGHT AND NO POWER!

I SWEAR TO YOU THIS WORKS, SO EASY. GOT THIS FROM ANOTHER POST AND HAD LITTLE FAITH IT WOULD WORK. IT TOOK 10 MINUTES.

Remove the keyboard, Harddrive, Battery
- find the connecter to the RTC battery that pluggs into the motherboard (which is a Red and black wire, the only ones), this is located right in front of the touchpad.
- Remove this connector using a needle nose plyers and if you can sneak the needle nose under the casing and pull the RTC battery out (i did that just to be safe, i am 90% sure though that you can just unplug it from the motherboard).
- wait 5 minutes
- Reconnect the RTC battery to the Motherboard
- Screw in the keyboard and harddrive (i am not sure if the harddrive gets grounded by the screw but just do it too be safe)
- Plug the laptop into the ac adapter
- MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PUT THE BATTERY PACK IN
- Turn the laptop on and access the bios by using F10

I did the same procedure for the NC6000 except i also removed the CD-rom

- I know my instructions are lengthy but after 3 months of thinking (and being in the IT field) i feel that i might as well post the exact procedure too make sure it works.
