Well I'm planning on playing movies I have on my computer (mostly .AVI or mpg) on my TV. The computer I plan on playing these from is a 1Ghz PIII 512MB Ram and about a 250 Gig HD or so with Windows XP, nothing spectacular but I figure it will get the job done. I've also been toying with the idea of turning it into a home TiVo kind of, from what I've read it seems like a pretty easy build. My problem is when I've been looking at NewEgg, I can't really decide on what kind of Video card to get, it will have to be a PCI card though, and any help on deciding would be great, thanks ahead of time!
