You have an A64 CPU, correct? Is it s754 or s939? Both have issues with running 4x512mb, but the s754 handles it a little worse than s939. It has to do the the on CPU memory controller. Some CPU's will let you manually set the divider back to 1:1, but you have to change the command rate from 1T to 2T.
