If you are trying to install an os from an iso in vmware. You dont even need to burn the disks. You can just mount the ISO images.

(the vmware for that os needs to be off) Double click on the cdrom in the vm you want to load the os. Click use iso image then point it to wherever the iso image is. No need to burn disk anymore
