upgrade path to the 6800go is mod free and all you will need is the card, some screwdrivers and possibly a later revision bios.

upgrading to either of the other cards as i said is possible but you will need:

1. a 9cell primary battery
2. a 130w external power adapter(xps2 stock adapter)
3. xps2 northbridge heatsink(most newer 9300's ship with the correct type heatsink, but some older versions it seems use one which is a different shape, and will thus get in the way of the faster more power hungry gpu's secondary heat pipe)
4. the gpu
5. a hacked xps2 bios(since no 9300 bios will recognise the 6800u or the 7800)

Now I got my info straight. You'll have to get by with a 6800Go to stay away from extra costs. You'll definately need to flash the BIOS to a different version, because I know that the one it ships with only allows a Mobility Radeon x300 card other than the integrated graphics. Now, I'd say that your best bet would be the sites that are listed in that thread I linked above, like
http://www.upgrade.co.uk/
or

Good Luck!

That would be your best bet, although it is pretty expensive. You should note that laptop parts cost way more than desktop parts. BTW, the exchange rate would make it £171.50

BTW, NV41 would be the Go 6800 or Go 6800 Ultra.
