That's a good question...

I got picked up where I work now, without putting anything except the title of the certification... No Microsoft or CompTIA number for them to check. I suppose it could just be like references though, and if they ask for it - is when you should spill the beans and give them everything they want.

For a resume, I'm sure cert title is more than enough.
