does it have onboard video? If so what mobo do you have? Also are these freezes causing the blue screen of death or just freezing? I had some ram go bad on an old HP with win98se and would get blue screens right after another at times and then it wouldn't happen for days again,so you might want to check your ram.If the win98se install is old and you've added and removed very many programs you might want to run a reg cleaner software.
