How close can you you put a Monitor to a Computer? To another Monitor ?

Have small micro Computer--my GF's --and want to put the monotor (either a 15" that I have or a 17" Aperture grid) on a stand to save space. CAN it be done withOUT signifcant interference? Is anybody doing it? (yes, I've thought of cooling problems).

Also, have a monitor on kitchen pantry (!) ; want to Dual-Monitor the Computer. Can they (15" and 17") be placed 2"-3" apart ? Without noticeable interfernce. Both are about 5 years old and I'm not worried so much as to their life expectancy as to their picture quality.

A small , quiet external fan can be placed in vacinity to compensate for heat proximity.

Not my favored choice of placement. But living under space constraints in a small apt. These are "make-do" arrangements---provided they will work.

Before I start moving furniture etc. , any comments as to feasability. Will the darn thing(s) work ?

DOOOOOG
