windows xp home sp2
Ati x1950 pro 256mb
Omega 500w dual rail 12v 30amps

My system is about 3 yrs old. The card works beautifully.How old is ur pc?
Consider the card release date in comparison with ur pc's age.

I believe it should work very well if ur cpu is good. I don't know amd models.

But as u can see my pc is also aged a little aged, but the card works fantastic. x1900 will increase ur framerates significantly, Though if u can, u should rather concider 1950 pro. The 1950 might bottleneck ur system, but the pro is a great card. no regrets. try to get a 500w psu. it's also a very important piece of hardware, I believe especially for older systems.
