I've solved my Quattro headaches, it was the gearbox that had gone to a warmer place. A big chunk of cog fell out when I emptied the oil from it, but now it is changed. Changing it made a new problem appear though. The starter engine won't work anymore. I believe it's a wiring problem and that it can be fixed though.
The car is so far only sucking money from my wallet, and has brought me little driving. Looking to have it working ok on a trackday 30th September, and then consider selling it on.
