I would go for a different board. While ECS isn't a "bad" brand, and they generally make good baords for the money, if stability is paramount as you say, I would spend a bit more and chose something of higher quality. I'm a fan of Gigabyte and Abit boards. I use to also recommend asus, but the last several boards I've used from them have been absolutly horrible, and that's assume they worked in the first place.
