I think your good on compatibility. I don't see anything that won't work..
As far as ECS boards. I've used one in a build, and it's still running with no problems. I myself don't have any bad experience with them. But they're not the greatest board out. But if your that strapped for money, then it should do for your build. | I too haven't had any issues with the ECS boards I've used, though I would personally feel more comfortable with something a bit higher end for my own builds... As far as ASUS, funny thing, their lower end GeForce 6100/6150 based boards I've actually had very good luck with. It's their higher end boards that I've found severely lacking. In particular, their P35 boards. YMMV of course.
