Hello everybody!
I am having a problem with my nc6000 too.
The notebook doesn't charge the battery.
If it is connected to the adapter it says it is "connected to AC power, but not charging the battery." in the system tray.
The amber lightning strike LED stay's off.
By now my battery is 0% and so it only runs on AC power.
In the beginning i could twist and turn the AC adapter plug and sometimes the amber light would go on but that too doesn't work anymore.
I'm sure it's not the battery because I've tried another one allready.
And from logic thinking I derived that it can't be the AC adapter jack, since then it woudn't receive any AC power, and the notebook woudn't work at all, right??
Does anybody know what to do about this or have an idea?
