Wasn't sure exactly which section to put this in, figured this might fall in to PC mod category, so here it is...
Hey, I'm in need of a new Mouse pad for my mice, for last few months I've resorted to using a thin stack of white printer paper for my "mouse pad"

(small imperfections in white paper surface for laser to read, works surprisingly well too )
but as some know, when your playing online or an intense game, hands sweat, paper soaks it up, disintegrates or warps bad, then need to flip the sheets over or shuffle them or throw away whole stack & start with a new one.
reason I use that, is my wood "finish", wood looking laminate or whatever it is, is pitted & gets dirty fungus looking spots, clean it with hot water or hydrogen peroxide or alcohol & cleans up a little, but "grows" back later anyways... with the old optical mouse, seemed to come back faster under the red LED light
anyways, now, I'm using a Logitech G7 & have a G5 for back up use, both for most part same exact mouse, just one wireless the other wired.
what I'm looking for a is a good gaming mouse pad, but my keyboard shelf space is limited. roughly 9.5" x 11" (depth x width) of space.
& need something that would work with in that space limit, or very close to it.
the other thing is, I've been looking for sometime now, & not exactly sure which ones to go for, hard solid metal type ones, plastic, or what? I know that for laser & many optical mice, needs to be many small "imperfections" in the surface for laser or sensor to read, so have been looking at ones with unique textures or specially designed graphics on the surface, but still not sure what ones to go for?
my budget for one, is roughly $30-35 absolute max. (closer to $25 if I can)
any suggestions on brand/model would be greatly appreciated
TIA
