Yes I agree, open is open. Another thing I notice is a small silver square just below the black lever I described earlier. The left side of the door has neither the lever or the silver square. Thanks for all your help, I guess it's time to contact them. I feel they will want me to take it in for service, but I am not sure if I want to go that route. Hell, I would rather fix it myself... LOL
