alpha 4 is ok but I still recommend 7.10 at the moment for someone looking to experiment with linux for the first time. alpha 5 should be out in about a week or two. (24'th i think?) The installer has still been a little buggy on a few of the machines I tested on. Some packages are crashing a lot still and the bug report software is sketchy as well. I've started installing 7.10 on customers machines cus it's incredibly stable but i still can't wait for the 8.04 release as it includes a few new nice features, especially built in support for kvm  |
