Hmm..
well in that case it leads me to believe either your PSU isn't up to the task, even though you don't have a cable going to it, that could still cause it.
OR, it could be a bad GPU.
Have you reset you bios?
Maybe try that, if not.
Other then that, It would have to be you board.
