Yes, but 40,000 miles is still pretty good. From what I have seen, companies that put a warranty on a tire is basically telling you the expect life of a tire. The Potenzs have a 40,000 miles warranty, while the Goodyears have about a 30,000 mile life. And from what I have seen, that points towards the Potenzas having a much better tread wear.


I was looking for a tire that will give me good street performance, rain performance, and long tread life and the Potenzas seem to be the best choice.
